Psycho open title sequence

This title sequence is special because of the disjointed title that was raced together and pulled apart. also the music that is used in the title sequences it very punchy and quick. The kinetic typography is very dramatic and spooky. final the way that the words of been cut and the pace of it cutting movement which may represent a knife or dagger. I think that Saul Bass uses Non-diegetic sounds , the music sound is punchy and loud which may connote that this could be a horror movie..

THE SEVEN YEAR ITCH: THE TITLE CREDITS

This title sequence by Saul Bass is completely the opposite to Psycho's title credits. More bright colours are used and Saul Bass plays along with the background. The background looks like sheets of paper. Through the sequences certain squares open up the non- diegetic sounds is live , has a cartoon feeling to it and it makes the viewer feel warm.

Morris, I Want Him Dead ( completed version)

Morris, I Want Him Dead ( completed version)

the is our complete version of Harri, I Want Him Dead, the improvements that we made where the lighting , type of music , title credits and ending credits and the ending of the movie when the guns slides on the table until Matthew says " considerate done".
Evaluation
this is our unfinished preliminary sequence that includes 180 degree rule, match on action and shot reverse shot. the match in action shot in this video was taken when Matthew Venis opens the green door and walks into the room. during the conversation involving Matthew Venis and Guled Jama both 180 degree rule and shot reverse shot used at that present time. also we included panning when Matthew Venis was holding and loading the gun against his chest.

Improvements
The faults that we found whilst editing the film was the use of lighting, we noticed when Matthew entered the room the lighting increase from dark to light and this ruined the continuity of the film.

Harri begs it too much

Evaluation

In the video called Harris begs it too much we had to use different camera angles to complete the task. the sound track that we used in the video was "Kano - P's and Q's. The first camera movement that we shot was a tilt up movement. Then the next shot was a high angle shot of Guled Jama and a low angle shot of Harrington Morris. The high angle shot shows that Guled looks superior but on the other hand the low angle shot on Harrington shows as that he looks inferior ccompared to Guled. But between the the tilt shot and the high angle shot, we accidentally cut a clip when Harrington falls over Guled.
Then we jumped into a far angle shot of Ayomide Babatunde (me) and Guled Jama beating up Harrington Morris.

Improvements

I think we could have improved on the continuity of the video because at the time of making the video we were just filming random clips. At the end we played around with the video clips and made a story line out of them.

Table Tennis : Oakgrove Championship

We included two of the three shots because we used the tilt shot in our previous video. At the beginning we used tracking when Matthew entered the room and panning out while Guled and Matthew where playing table tennis. also to make the video more enjoyable and interesting we added titles such as the " 1 hour later scene"and background music.

Improvement

We could have could have improved on the panning out. If we could have another go at that scene we could have used a object to help use steady the camera because as you all can see that the camera was not steady when we where filming the panning movement in the film.
